Warm Weather Shipping

From May 1st-October 15th, we take special care to ensure that any perishable items arrive at their destination in the best condition possible. Because warm weather poses a problem to products prone to melting, we ship these gifts in special insulated containers with a frozen gel pack in order to keep the package cool for up to 48 hours.

We strongly recommend that you choose a shipping address where someone will be available to accept the package upon arrival, so that it is not subjected to heat or humidity if left outside.

Any gifts that contain perishable products will automatically be shipped in the proper container with ice packs, so the item's price includes the cost of the special packaging. The only decision you have to make is what shipping method to choose.

Shipping Days (From May 1st-October 15th)

Items that contain perishables and are going to locations outside of New England ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, in order to be sure that they do not remain in transit over the weekend. We can also ship to many New England locations on Thursday, if you choose Next Business Day shipping. We do not ship on Fridays. We can not be responsible for the condition of the shipment if you choose a method other than what we recommend.

Recommended Shipping Options (From May 1-October 15th)

Because the ice packs last for about 48 hours, we strongly recommend at least 2-Business Day shipping of gifts containing perishables.

If the shipping address is 2 or more days away from our zip code (01983) and you choose Ground shipping, please note that the items ship at your own risk!
